This is a place for adventurous people with Type 1 Diabetes to share experiences and help each other maintain healthy blood sugars as we “get after it” and thrive in our athletic endeavors. I don’t consider myself an athlete, but I have been involved in cycling and some running since I was a kid. I have always valued the positive benefits of exercise, both to my body and my mind.
Below is a few stories I have written. I am hoping AwD will attract an eclectic group of people who also have a story they want to tell. If you are one of these enthusiastic individuals, please reach out and tell me!
